Incorrect or Defective Shipments
Incorrect titles or defective books may be returned for replacement or credit / refund if the request to return is communicated within 30 days of the delivery date. STARMARK International's original invoice is required for replacement or credit / refund.
Short Shipment or Non-Delivery
Claims involving short shipment or non-delivery must be communicated within 30 days of the delivery date. We will replace the missing books or issue credit for them. STARMARK International's original invoice is required for replacement or credit / refund.
Returned in error or not credited
Starmark International is not responsible for items returned in error. We will notify you, via email, phone call or fax, of any titles returned to us in error (not our title, etc.). You will be responsible for the return shipping charges.

Backorders
Starmark International is willing to supply or cancel backorders at your preference. We will honor cancellation of backorders at any time. Unless notified otherwise, we will NOT automatically backorder all qualifying titles
Returns of Properly Delivered Books
Books may be returned, under the conditions listed below, for credit / refund.
1. Requesting Permission to Return
Permission to return must be requested and granted in advance. If you return books without requesting and receiving permission, we will NOT grant credit / refund.
To receive permission, requests must be received within 30 days of delivery date.
We prefer requests by fax and Email. Requests must include the following information: date of request, date of invoice, invoice number, title, edition, ISBN, quantity to be returned, reason for return, address, phone number, and fax number. If you do not include your contact information (fax number, phone number, email address), there will be delays.

*Please mark multiple box returns as "1 of 3," "2 of 3," etc. Include your packing slip in the first carton.
2. Receiving Credit / Refund
To receive credit / refund:
- Buyers must include proof of permission to return in their shipments.
- Books must arrive in good, saleable condition (e.g., no stickers, marks, scratches, or other signs of wear).
3. Postage credit
Please state on your packing list what postage you are paying to return damaged, defective, or misshipped items so that your claim may be expedited. If no postage amount is declared, your account will be credited at a rate assigned by STARMARK INTERNATIONAL, which may not reflect your actual charges. STARMARK INTERNATIONAL does NOT credit handling, insurance, or penalty charges.
Liability
We are selling you works that we purchase from publishers. We are only a conduit and do not make any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the contents of the works we distribute. We do not vet or censor the works, and we are not responsible for the works or their content. We have no obligation to indemnify you or anyone who purchases from you with respect to the works we sell.
